Yes2God - Several years ago, I came up with this theme for my life and ministry. I always want to have my hand up, saying to God - ‘Pick me!’ And the great news is that our great God has been faithful to allow me to be a part of ministry for several years now! Each season has been a little different, but I have definitely sensed His hand on my shoulder guiding me day by day.

Several months ago, the Lord seemed to share a new dream with me, and Teresa immediately resonated with a resounding yes! As a ministry couple and family, we have had lots of good times and seasons of ‘felt’ blessings! We have also had several times when it was hard - and a few times when ministry and life seemed to be overwhelming. Our great God has invited us to Mountain View, Arkansas to provide a place for pastor’s, staff, and other leaders who follow Jesus to ‘come away for awhile.’ We are so glad to give what we have, to serve how we can, to provide a place of quiet, a place of healing, and hopefully a place where leaders can catch a new sense of God’s amazing work in their lives.

You are invited. As you encounter a difficult season in your own life, ministry, or family, you are invited to come away for a few days to this beautiful Arkansas community. This is a place where Teresa and I came to decompress during difficult times. We hope that you can find this to be a place where you can sense God’s Spirit in a new way.

About Bill: I love the outdoors! I want to be outdoors everyday! I have woodworking shop where I build outdoor furniture from local Eastern Red Cedar. I also enjoy working on my lathe making bowls and pens. Last summer, I purchased my first fishing kayak! I have not done much fishing, but lots of paddling since acquiring this cool boat! I love to hike…let’s go!

Teresa Gartung

Teresa is a retired music teacher and has been a part of our ministry team both in our youth and music ministry as well as senior pastorates. Teresa is now enjoying this new adventure, because there is always one around the corner with husband Bill. Being in this beautiful location and being able to share it with others is something that has been a strong yearning in my heart to help others going through what we have and just listening or sharing when appropriate to individual situations. No answers, just open ears and no judgements here.

Teresa does enjoy cooking, learning about painting…..with Bill’s woodworking I have great possibilities in wood canvases. Rock painting is a fun sideline as well as painting saw blades. The bigger the better! I do love watching the beautiful sunsets from our back deck. I can’t wait to share that with those guests that come our way.

Teresa will always offer a smile. She will treat each of our guests as family and try to make you feel at home without overstepping. Sometimes, from experience, you just need to be left alone. I can do that , too. We have had our own struggles through the years such as having three miracle babies that should not be alive today, but by God’s grace they are.

Rebekah lives here in Mountain View. She is a joy to have around to cook with and explore with.

Isaac lives in Boise, Idaho and is working on his MBA to assist him in starting his own ministry through the coffee business.

Kaitlyn is our Navy girl. She currently stateside on the Rushmore. She is serving others as she gets used to living on a ship.

But, that’s another story. My longtime chronic illness of diabetes has it’s restrictions, but God is always there walking beside me. If you want to do something that I can’t do, I’m a great cheerleader!

So, come join us! We would love to have you! Bill always has the coffee on.

Sarah Wilson

Hey everyone, I’m Sarah Wilson and along with my husband Jarett and two sons, Sawyer (15) and Paxton (10) reside in Conway, Arkansas. Serving in the board for the Lookout Church of the Nazarene is just one of the opportunities that God has given me to be able to serve Him!

My testimony stems from many years being lost from from the church yet sought after by a Savior. When I tell you that God is able to breathe life into dead bones, I know first hand that truth because He did it for me! I have found my calling reaching out to the lost and hurting of this world to telling them God is bigger than their pain, and that He loves them in whatever situation they are in. I’m excited to see how God is going to use this ministry to meet with the broken, pour out love to the hurting, and restore what only the Great I Am can!

Rebekah Gartung

Hello! I am Rebekah Gartung. I am part of this ministry because I have the privilege of living here and am excited to be on this journey! I am also an employee of the local Walmart. I love to sing, go for short drives in the area and cook in the kitchen with my mom! I am looking forward to seeing what God does through me in the ministry here. Before moving here I lived with my grandparents and helped take care of my grandmother. You will see me around as I come and go to work. If you need anything while I am here let me know!
